On 18th September 2013 members from Crosby branch visited HMS Raleigh to witness mentoring "in action". they were hosted by S/M's Colin Jones and John Whiteman, where they witnessed the assault course competition between Cornwell 007's Port and Stbd. After lunch S/M's Dave Tollerton(Chm'n 10 Area) and his wife Andrea, Trevor Howard(Sec. St. Helens) and his wife Lillian, Fred Pilgrim and Bill Roberts (Crosby) witnessed the Guard Selection for Fisher Division. In the evening the group were joined by S/M's Billy and Val Jones and attended the monthly meeting of Plymouth branch where they were all warmly welcomed and enjoyed a 'hospitality tot'.
On Friday Sept. 20th. all 8 teamed up with us again at Raleigh to witness the passing out parade for Cornwell 007 classes, who provided the Guard. It was agreed an enjoyable time was had by all.
