We had a very successful Armed Forces Day on the Hoe. The 'funny caps' were seen everywhere, including on a Guide Dog puppy under training. Amongst our visitors were Cdre Little and his wife, and F.O.S.T and his Flag Lt.. We signed up at least 14 potential members, including one for Bridgwater branch. Refreshments for the 'team' was salmon and cucumber sandwiches with white wine, prawn cocktails, a selection of rolls etc. and Pimms just to keep our 'sales pitch' lubricated. Hospitality Corner dispensed tots to the deserving vets and standard bearers, plus visiting members from other branches. Everyone agreed it was a 'good stand'
