On Saturday 17th. November, the Branch held our Annual Dinner Dance in the WO & SR's Mess, HMS Drake. Guests of Honour were The Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Clr Michael Wright (ex Navy), Rear Admiral Simon Lister OBE and his wife Anita, and S/M Chris Dovey (National Chairman) and his wife Gail. Toasts were proposed to The Queen, Plymouth Branch, Our Guests, and The City of Plymouth. A superb menu prepared, presented and served by the Mess Catering Manager Anette Hellyer and her extremely hard working team attending to 250 members, guests, serving members, sea cadets and members of other branches. A evening thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Our thanks go to WO1 Chris Isaacs and Mess Members for the privilage of using the Mess and facilities.
