On the 16th.of November, 217 members, families and guests , including Saltash and Liskeard Branches, TASI Association, HMS Ganges Association and Serving Members, attended the Plymouth Branch annual Dinner and Dance in the W.O's and S.R's mess HMS Drake, courtesy of the Mess President WO1 R. Todd Royal Marines. Our Guest of Honour, our President Cdre. Graeme Little OBE, ADC, RN accompanied by his wife Helen. Our branch Patron, the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Cllr. Vivien Pengelly, accompanied by Mrs. Judith Marks were escorted and "piped in" by Sea Cadets from TS Manadon and TS Golden Hind. After a superb meal served by Annette Hillyer MBE and her hard working team, Life Membership was awarded to S/M Bob Shaw, Branch Treasurer, and Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to S/Ms Janette Whiteman and Soraya Lewis-Coleman.The evening was completed with dancing till "the early hours" to Eclipse. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
