Shipmate Harry Stanley Harvey (known as Stan) being presented with the Arctic Star by Liskeard Branch President Shipmate John Lennon. Stan at the age of 97 is believed to be the third oldest recipient of this Medal. During the Arctic Convoys, Stan made three sailings from Rosyth in Scotland to Murmansk in Russia, with his overriding memory being of the extreme cold.
