The RNA Shipmates Campaign is moving into top gear as the members of the Naval Service facing redundancy learn their fate this week. The campaign aims to provide local RNA support to Service leavers and their wives/husbands/partners, before and after leaving. The RNA’s new Assistant General Secretary, Lt Cdr Andy Christie is on the road to all Service Resettlement Advisors to provide them with the Shipmates literature and to ensure that the system is in place to give every Service leaver who wishes, a personal invitation to their nearest RNA branch where they will be resettling. The guide to RNA branches arrives within the next few days to provide the necessary advice to Branch Secretaries about how the Campaign works. The guide is also attached (to the left).
