Delabole Branch visit HMS Cornwall

HMS Cornwall paid her last visit to Falmouth on Monday 25th of April 2011. She fired a 11 gun salute passing Pendennis Castle. HMS Cornwall deployed from the UK on 28th October last year to patrol the Gulf of Aden as the command ship for CTF 151 - the Counter Piracy Task Force of a multi-national naval partnership. Returning straight from her deployment she had a very rough passage through the Bay of Biscay to arrive in the sun in her native Cornwall.HMS Cornwall enters Pylmouth During the afternoon the crew welcomed members of the Royal Naval Association from Cornwall photo shows members of Delabole meeting up with branch member LEM Elkie Brooks a member of HMS Cornwall's ships company.
