RNA Branch Liability Insurance cover now available
In 2013 Central Office investigated insurance cover and found it did not cover branches, to do so would have cost Central Office £66K per year. In Sept 2013 notice was published of the requirement for Branches to have their own PLI. In 2014 additional notices were sent out to clarify the situation, the most recent in May 2019 only gave details of an alternate insurance provider. To finally put this matter to bed Branch PLI is a mandatory requirement. Failure to do so renders the branch Officials personally liable should any claim against the branch be made.
